Bovine Life was and occasionally is, the alias I release music under. The name comes from my 1993 video piece “The Sound of Taransay” which was my degree film at Edinburgh College of Art. There was a very very long shot of some Highland Cows in it. I named my production company “Digital Cow Productions” after this in 1995 for TV work. As time went on, it meant more for me to make music so I became Bovine Life. I have a few releases on itunes / bip-hop.com and boomkat etc. as Bovine Life – but have decided to give certain Recordings away for free. I just stumbled on your blog via 14tracks. And i saw there were no responses on this beautiful album.
I’ve bought it in 2001, i think (i was keeping track with Bip-hop) and i think it’s one of the best albums on that label and for me one of the best albums that i bought that year (and at that time, i bought a lot). I hope you’ll make some new music after the Bip-Hop albums. Warm greetings from Belgium and now i have to check out your blog, bye.
