BLSS 09 on the boil!

Well. Mogwai. Shed. Simon Bookish. All acts I am listening to, doing the rigorous “testing” stage I am so fond of on the BLSS! – this is why sometimes there are long gaps between shows because I am always absorbing the tracks into my listening DNA. I sometimes try a track over and over and ask myself “am I fed up with this yet!?” – why? because I want BLSS to be associated with proper & considered shows with high quality sound recording nestled betwixt the tracks like a rose nestled between a buxom bosom!

Thorsten Sideb0ard (sic) has just emailled me a tracklisting for our increasingly popular HighPoint LowLife podcast on the download shows page. Now all BLSS have 100% tracklistings and links to where to obtain the music! Hurrah! And Glasgow is starting to get the evening sun!

Site Update – Bovine Life albums for free!

Does giving your stuff away devalue it? I don’t know. I’ve never raked in a load of money from my own music. I’ve broken even and had a lot of fun, so I’d rather the stuff was just released into the ether now. Mainly because some of the stuff is actually late nineties and therefore now history in the pre-millenial sense. So check out the new page – where I am giving some of my personal back catalogue away. gratis.

Mediafire is back, all is well!

Their scheduled maintenance is over thank buggery! And so the half a dozen folk that have been trying to access bovine matter can sleep in their beds now… all back to normal! OK. I’m back to watching Wild Style 25th anniversary DVD!

Hullo.

On the previous Bovine site (bovine.50webs.org) I included track-lists and places to buy each track / links to myspaces / boomkats and so on. This page will be up soon but is being redesigned so you can see all the covers in one place with all the tracks. It’s just I had better do some paid work first!

All the tracks are from the excellent Highpoint Lowlife label and this show features a strange interview with it’s founder Thorsten Sideboard, which is read out by my girlfriend who has pleaded for anonymity! – Even our cat is on the show! The show was recorded in the last week of August in Grez-sur-Loinge in France, London and Glasgow!
